Renault Information Systems Charter

You must apply the seven security precautions:

  1. Always enter a password when requested.
  2. Change passwords regularly.
  3. Never disclose a user ID or password to anyone else.
  4. Apply special protection to confidential Renault documents.
  5. Never leave a workstation with a session open. (Set screen saver with password protection to switch in after five minutes' inactivity).
  6. Never leave computer media (diskette, cartridge, CD-ROM, etc.) containing confidential data in an open office.
  7. Take care not to leave anything behind when photocopying, scanning, printing or faxing sensitive documents.
