  • What 's the objective to nominate an ADF?

 
The Supplier administrator (ADF) is nominated by the Sales Manager or a legal representative of its company.
The Supplier administrator (ADF)’s role is to manage user access to the Renault Supplier Portal within your company.
 
 
  • What should the Supplier administrator’s professional profile be?

 
The Designated Supplier Administrator is an experienced person, extremely familiar with transversal activities within the company, rigorous and with a proven record of good human relations.   He does not need to have extensive computing knowledge, but uses a computer on a daily basis as a work tool.
Everyone within the company who deals with Renault must know your ADF’s name and contact details, as he is the person they will need to contact to request access to both the Renault Supplier Portal  and the various trade applications it contains.

 

  • What is the role of the Supplier administrator?

Scope
The ADF can be responsible for the management of one or several entities following the logic of Renault’s computing system.
Several ADF can be nominated for one entity.
Role
The Designated Supplier Administrator (ADF) is primarily responsible for:
  • checking structural information        
The ADF must check that the structural information is set up correctly following the logic of Renault’s computing system.   This includes checking information covering the various geographical sites, administrative entities and the attachment to different groups.
  • managing his colleagues’ access to the Renault Supplier Portal        
In order to do this, Renault provides the ADF with a Profile Administration  tool which enables him to update his company’s user files in the Renault Access Control Directory (ARCA) following the movement of one of his colleagues: arrival in or departure from the company, internal transfer, change of office, etc…
The ADF can consequently create, alter, suspend or reactivate supplier user files which are under his responsibility.   He can also transfer users from one site to another site within their original management entity.
N.B.: If an employee leaves the company, it is the ADF’s responsibility to delete his access rights to both the Renault Supplier Portal  and the various “trade” applications the portal contains.   He will thus prevent improper use of the portal.
  • managing rights to the associated applications for which he has been given administration rights        
In order to do this, Renault provides the ADF with an Access Rights Administration  tool which allows him to allocate and update access to the various “trade” applications.
For each of the different applications for which Renault has given him administration rights and which fall within his scope of management, the ADF can consequently a) allocate roles to and b) withdraw roles from each of his colleagues.

  • May I nominate several “ADF”s within my company (Renault supplier account)?

 
It is possible for several Supplier administrators to be nominated. You could, for example, name one ADF per geographical site.
This type of organisation by geographical site is the most highly recommended as it reflects the way in which data is structured within the Renault suppliers’ database. It is consequently simple to obtain the list of “portal” users allocated to one of your company’s sites.
However, you should be aware that each of your Administrators will have access to the details and access rights of all employees in your company who are registered on the Renault portal. Nothing – except your company’s management rules – will prevent the ADF for one geographical site from updating the user details of other sites within your company.
In order to nominate several ADFs, you simply need to fill out the nomination form for each ADF. Don’t forget to sign each form. 
 
  • Is it possible to nominate the same ADF for several companies (Renault supplier accounts) within my Group?

 
Yes. The sales directors of each company simply need to be informed so that they can all indicate the same administrator in their respective ADF nomination files.
If you are the legal representative for several companies within your Group, you simply need to fill out the notification form with all your companies account numbers.
 
  • How can I change or delete ADF rights ?
